Um diese Vision weiter voranzutreiben, suchen wir Verstärkung für unser Engineering Team, idealerweise in Frankfurt oder remote innerhalb Deutschlands. Unterstütze uns zeitnah dabei, die Zukunft der Mobilität mitzugestalten und die Modernisierung zentraler technischer Systeme im DB-Konzern aktiv voranzutreiben.

Was dich erwartet

  • Als Backend Entwickler:in arbeitest Du als Teil eines agilen Software Teams an einer Softwarelösung, die einen reibungslosen Kommunikations- und Informationsfluss bei der Verkehrs- und Zugdisposition ermöglicht
  • Du entwickelst zusammen mit Architekt:innen und erfahrenen Entwickler:innen skalierbare Backend-Services für eine datenintensive Frontend-Anwendung weiter
  • Du hast den gesamten Software-Entwicklungszyklus im Blick und sorgst mit GitLab CI/CD für reibungslose, automatisierte Build- und Deployment-Prozesse
  • Du begleitest deine Arbeit durch testgetriebene Entwicklung und sorgst für robuste, gut wartbare Tests
  • Du arbeitest eng mit Kolleg:innen aus den Bereichen Product, QA, DevOps, Data Backend oder Frontend zusammen und gestaltest Lösungen im cross-funktionalen Austausch

Was wir suchen

  • Du bringst Erfahrung in der Java Backend-Entwicklung (7+ Jahre) mit und arbeitest sicher mit PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka sowie AWS Lambda (Serverless) in der AWS Cloud und bist mit GitLab (o.Ä.) CI/CD, Docker und Gradle vertraut
  • Du beherrschst die Komplexität mehrerer Layer und Datenquellen und kannst durch proaktive Kommunikation mit verschiedenen Teams Unstimmigkeiten an Schnittstellen zu anderen Services lösen
  • Du entwickelst testgetrieben, idealerweise mit Spock und legst großen Wert auf saubere, wartbare Tests und ein verlässliches Qualitätsumfeld
  • Gegebenenfalls bringst du Kenntnisse in GraphQL, TypeScript, Node.js und Groovy mit und hast bereits erste Erfahrungen mit Liquibase und AppSync gesammelt
  • Kenntnisse in der Optimierung von Backend-Prozessen und Datenbankperformance sind von Vorteil
  • Außerdem zeichnest Du dich durch ein hohes Maß an Teamfähigkeit, Kommunikationsstärke und Eigeninitiative aus
  • Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und kannst Dich sowohl mündlich als auch schriftlich gut auf Englisch verständigen
