Modern Pool Company is seeking a proactive, organised and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to support our sales team and coordinate daily sales and administrative activities.
The successful candidate will assist with customer enquiries, quotations, sales orders, order processing, delivery coordination and follow-up with customers to ensure smooth business operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the sales team.
- Handle customer enquiries through telephone, email and other communication channels.
- Prepare sales quotations, proposals, sales orders and other related documents.
- Follow up with customers on quotations, orders, payments and delivery schedules.
- Process sales orders and maintain accurate customer and sales records.
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Assist the sales team in preparing price lists, product information and sales reports.
- Maintain customer databases and update sales records in the company's system.
- Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers.
- Assist in preparing invoices and coordinating with the accounts department on payment matters.
- Provide after-sales administrative support and assist in resolving customer queries.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings for the sales team when required.
- Maintain proper filing of quotations, purchase orders, delivery orders and other sales documents.
- Perform general administrative duties and other tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in sales coordination, sales administration or customer service is an advantage.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Able to prepare quotations, maintain records and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with customers and internal departments.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the swimming pool, construction, engineering, maintenance or building materials industry is an advantage.
