About the role

Our Northern Europe business is growing and we are building out the team behind it. As a Business Development Manager, you will find and open new opportunities across the UK, Ireland, the Nordics, and France.

You will speak with marketing, CRM, and growth leaders at consumer brands about the problems they live with every day. Retention that is slipping. Personalisation that never scaled. Campaign tooling that takes too long to use. Your job is to start those conversations and turn them into qualified pipeline.

This is a market where MoEngage is still the challenger. You will be selling into accounts where nobody has heard the story yet. That takes resilience, curiosity, and a real point of view.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build and run outbound strategies to open new opportunities across Northern Europe
  • Reach prospects by phone, email, LinkedIn, and in person at events
  • Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to grow and qualify pipeline
  • Research accounts properly, so every conversation has a reason behind it
  • Keep Salesforce and Outreach current, and use them to work your territory with intent
  • Represent MoEngage at industry events and customer roundtables across the region

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication. You can hold a conversation with a senior marketer
  • Coachable, and genuinely interested in getting better
  • Confident, and able to take direct feedback without taking it personally
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Organised. You can run a territory without being chased
  • Willing to put in the work and prove yourself
  • Right to work in the UK

Nice to have

  • Experience in SaaS or B2B, ideally selling to marketing teams
  • Experience prospecting into Northern European markets
  • A second European language
  • Familiarity with martech, CRM, CDP, or customer engagement tools

Compensation is based on a range of factors, including location, experience, job-related skills, and level.
