The posting

Waarborgen van een veilige en opvoedkundig verantwoorde omgeving waardoor kinderen en jeugdigen (tot 18 jaar) zich optimaal kunnen ontwikkelen in de buurt.

Wat ga je doen?

Buurttaken:

  • Kent de problemen en kracht van jeugd/gezinnen in de buurt;
  • Is eerste aanspreekpunt, vraagbaak en ondersteuner in de buurt ten aanzien van jeugd- en opvoedproblemen;
  • Zorgt voor een samenhangende aanpak van opvoedondersteuning in de buurt, gericht op het versterken van de zelfredzaamheid van het kind en het gezin;
  • Stimuleert (wederzijdse) ondersteuning van ouders in de buurt bij opvoedingsvragen;
  • Is de schoolmaatschappelijk werker op de basisscholen in de buurt en realiseert samen met school, jeugdarts en VSV een preventieve zorgstructuur op school;
  • Onderhoudt contacten met o.m. huisartsen, peuterspeelzalen, scholen en kind organisaties in de buurt en adviseert t.a.v. jeugd- en opvoedingsproblematiek;
  • Signaleert (potentiële) jeugd- en opvoedingsproblematiek in de buurt en levert een bijdrage aan de oplossing.

Cliënttaken:

  • Krijgt inzicht in de aard van de hulpvraag en de situatie van het kind/gezin;
  • Signaleert mogelijke belemmering in de ontwikkeling van het kind of veiligheidsrisico’s, waarbij opschaling naar het expertiseteam plaatsvindt;
  • Geeft advies en biedt kortdurende ondersteuning t.a.v. opvoedingsproblemen;
  • Versterkt de zelfredzaamheid en het probleemoplossend vermogen van het kind/gezin en realiseert duurzame oplossingen;
  • Maakt optimaal gebruik van het eigen netwerk van betrokkenen en de inzet van burenhulp, vrijwilligers of buurtvoorzieningen;
  • Voert desgewenst regie over het traject en monitort de voortgang.

Kennis en vaardigheden van de jeugdconsulent

  • Heeft een HBO werk- en denkniveau;
  • Beschikt over expertise betreffende de ontwikkelstadia en -problemen van kinderen;
  • Is in staat om veiligheidsrisico’s te onderkennen;
  • Heeft een hoog verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel;
  • Bezit een sterk analytisch vermogen en is in staat integraal te denken;
  • Is in staat om preventief, proactief, creatief en daadkrachtig te handelen;
  • Is ondernemend en in staat ‘out of the box’ te denken en handelen;
  • Kan goed netwerken, is communicatief en sociaal vaardig en is een verbinder tussen partijen in de buurt;
  • Heeft een helicopterview, is in staat om problemen en knelpunten bij jeugd te signaleren en komt met verbetervoorstellen;
  • Is op de hoogte van relevante wetgeving en gemeentelijk beleid.
