The posting

MongoDB is growing faster than it has in years, with strong momentum in Atlas and EA. We are consolidating global Revenue Marketing under one leader to strengthen our partnership with Sales and build a modern, AI-powered revenue growth engine.

The SVP of Revenue Marketing owns marketing-sourced revenue for our sales-led business across AMER, EMEA, and APJ, including new investments in India, Japan, and Public Sector. You will rethink how we generate growth, connecting account intelligence, enterprise demand creation, developer engagement, and sales execution into a scalable system that influences architecture decisions and converts demand into revenue. You will also own partner marketing, digital services, and MDF.

This role reports to the CMO, sits on the Marketing Leadership Team, and partners directly with the CRO. This is a revenue role that lives in marketing. You know why pipeline is short before anyone asks, and you act.

This role can be based out of any of our US offices or remotely in the United States.

What you will own

  • Marketing-sourced revenue: Own the sales-led marketing revenue target, regional forecasts, and performance; Anticipate pipeline gaps, diagnose performance, and adjust investment and execution to deliver the number
  • Global revenue growth system: Build a unified growth engine across AMER, EMEA, and APJ; Move beyond traditional campaign- and event-centric execution toward always-on, signal-driven engagement; Establish repeatable growth plays, shared capabilities, and measurement while enabling regional teams to adapt to local markets
  • Enterprise demand and architecture decisions: Build account-based growth motions that engage executives, architects, and technical buyers early in their decision-making; Partner with Sales and technical teams to position MongoDB for new application and AI architectures, turning strategic account engagement into qualified pipeline and revenue
  • AI and automation: Partner across Marketing to redesign workflows, automate execution, and improve targeting, personalization, and optimization; Use AI to increase speed and impact while freeing teams for higher-value work
  • Partner marketing: Own hyperscaler, GSI, and OEM co-marketing, including MDF; Build scalable partner growth motions and tie investment to pipeline and revenue
  • New market growth: Build scalable market-entry and expansion models for India, Japan, and Public Sector, leveraging global capabilities and local market expertise

What we're looking for

  • Revenue accountability: You’ve owned and delivered a meaningful marketing-sourced revenue target at a B2B SaaS company operating at scale, across multiple regions and segments; You have experience navigating complex enterprise sales motions and driving predictable revenue growth
  • Commercial credibility: You’re a trusted partner to a CRO, experienced in enterprise account strategy, complex sales cycles, and expansion motions; You know how to diagnose pipeline gaps and drive corrective action
  • Systems thinking: You've redesigned how marketing generates growth, not just optimized existing campaigns; You connect data, technology, workflows, and people into scalable revenue motions
  • AI fluency: You understand how AI and automation can transform marketing execution and have translated new capabilities into measurable business outcomes
  • Global leadership: You've led large, distributed teams and strong regional leaders, including meaningful APJ experience; You balance global scale with local execution
  • Ecosystem experience: You've worked with hyperscalers and GSIs and know how to translate partnerships into pipeline
  • Enterprise and technical buyer expertise: You’ve built demand and driven growth in complex enterprise sales motions, engaging C-suite executives, architects, and technical buyers; You understand how to connect developer adoption to enterprise platform decisions and navigate long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles
  • Plus: Experience with data platforms, AI workloads, new market development, Japan, or Public Sector

How we'll measure success

  • Marketing-sourced revenue: Pipeline through closed-won, against global and regional targets
  • Pipeline performance: Conversion, velocity, and qualified pipeline in strategic accounts
  • Revenue efficiency: Marketing-sourced revenue and pipeline per dollar invested, including partner ROI
  • Growth system effectiveness: Adoption and performance of repeatable, signal-driven revenue motions
  • AI and automation: Measurable improvements in execution speed, productivity, and program performance
  • Strategic growth: Qualified pipeline and revenue from new application and AI architectures, penetration of strategic enterprise accounts, and new market performance in India, Japan, and Public Sector

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
