The position requires a deep understanding of internal control frameworks, digital risk management, e-payment regulations, and payment channel architectures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform continuous risk assessments and control testing on all electronic channels - including payment, loans, chargeback management, and dispute resolution workflows.
  • Evaluate revenue assurance controls for e-business products, verifying fee configurations, commission splits, and automated ledger postings.
  • Review and monitor merchant settlement accounts, transaction staging accounts, and e-channel clearing suspense accounts for timely matching and resolution.
  • Assess IT application controls, authorization logic, and parameter settings relevant to e-business applications and digital channel interfaces.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure internal control requirements are embedded into new digital payment product designs.
  • Develop and maintain an e-business control deficiency dashboard to track and remediate issues identified during channel reviews and audits.
  • Conduct regular audits of digital channel access rights, privileged user activities, and transaction limits to prevent fraud and unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant payment system standards, regulatory guidelines for electronic channels, and digital risk management practices.
  • Perform root cause analysis on digital channel control failures, transaction outages, or settlement discrepancies, recommending preventive measures.
  • Develop and manage the control deficiency remediation dashboard for follow-up and closure of open findings from control assessment, internal audit, and any external examination and assessment of finance operations.

Experience & Background:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance or a related field.
  • Certifications: CISA, CRISC, CISM, ACA, ACCA or related professional credentials.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in internal control, digital channel auditing, e-business control, or revenue assurance within a fintech, switching company, or commercial bank.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Data & Transaction Analysis: Proficiency in automated transaction reconciliation, data analytics, log analysis, and designing test scripts for high-volume digital transactions.
  • Revenue Assurance: Strong capability in identifying revenue leakage, fee discrepancy analysis, and transaction reconciliation across switching networks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across different departments.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of financial technology.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving threat landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead assessments and oversee communication and feedback collection with stakeholders.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively document and communicate assessment findings.

  • Organizational & Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple assessments, remediation efforts, and reporting requirements.
  • Integrity and Professionalism: High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information and maintaining objectivity in assessments.

What success looks like in this role:

  • Full coverage and validation of end-to-end controls across all digital payment and transaction platforms.
  • Zero tolerance for unresolved revenue leakages, settlement discrepancies, or unidentified channel control gaps.
  • Timely remediation and closure of identified control deficiencies, internal/external audit findings, and regulatory assessment gaps.
  • Seamless integration of robust control requirements into all new digital products and API releases prior to launch.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
