Job Description:
The part-time Event Engineer is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of building systems by performing maintenance, fixing equipment, and responding to service needs during events. This role helps ensure building systems operate effectively, supports ongoing facility operations, and maintains a safe and well-functioning environment.

Responsibilities:
- Performing regular upkeep and evaluations of building systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Responding promptly to service requests and emergencies to ensure minimal disruptions.
- Collaborating with other engineers and event staff to support detailed event execution.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Providing outstanding assistance to guarantee a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in arena operations and event facility maintenance.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and discretion at all times
- Proficient with basic plumbing repairs, to include the operation of drain cleaning equipment.
- Proficient in arena seat repair.
- Knowledge of carpentry, door repairs, general maintenance practices, and electrical repair.
- If working with refrigerants, a Universal CFC Certifications is required.
- DC 3rd class license is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift at least 50 Lbs, work at heights of not more than 110 feet, and stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay Rate: $29.00 USD/hour
