This is performed using DLP technologies, monitoring tools, investigations, reporting, and control validation activities to verify compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.

This role requires access to data subject to U.S. government citizenship restrictions.

To be considered for the Data Loss Prevention Analyst role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:

  • One (1) year of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, Information Protection, Data Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, IT Operations, or related discipline.

  • Experience investigating security alerts, incidents, or potential data leakage events.
  • Familiarity with DLP technologies and controls across Email, Browser, Endpoint, CASB, Cloud, and AI Governance platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals including access controls, security monitoring, incident response, risk management, and data protection principles.
  • Understanding of data classification, information handling requirements, confidentiality obligations, and information protection best practices.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, assess risk, and communicate findings effectively.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, auditing, and enforcing technology usage policies within enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and CMMC regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and common enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Experience producing managerial-level reporting and metrics (e.g., dashboards, assurance reports).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines including IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, and business functions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-evolving technology landscape.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), NIST 800-53, NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), ISO 27001, or similar.
  • Security+, SC-900, Microsoft Security, or other applicable cybersecurity certifications is a plus.

As a Data Loss Prevention Analyst, you will:

  • Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Program, including participating in the creation and maintenance of policies, standards, and procedures governing the protection of sensitive information.
  • Monitor and investigate DLP alerts and incidents involving sensitive, proprietary, regulated, or controlled information across email, endpoint, browser, cloud, and AI platforms.
  • Support the administration, maintenance, tuning, and optimization of DLP controls and policies to improve detection effectiveness, reduce false positives, and minimize operational impact.
  • Utilize DLP technologies and monitoring tools to identify unauthorized disclosures, policy violations, insider threat indicators, and high-risk data handling activities.
  • Produce and deliver monthly DLP reporting detailing alert trends, policy effectiveness, investigation outcomes, operational metrics, risk indicators, and recommended improvements for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security, IT, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Operating Groups, and business stakeholders to investigate potential data leakage events and support remediation efforts.
  • Support the protection of sensitive information across enterprise technologies, including email platforms, collaboration tools, cloud applications, endpoint devices, web browsers, and AI-enabled systems.

  • Create and maintain investigative documentation, reports, procedures, standards, operational playbooks, and knowledge base articles supporting DLP operations.
  • Prepare dashboards, metrics, and trend analyses to measure DLP program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
