The Role:

This role will support the Distribution team in maximising revenues by leveraging Moonbug’s intellectual property across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). It is the operational backbone of the region’s sales efforts: every pitch is built on accurate rights information, every deal is tracked from the initial conversation through to delivery, and every content roll-out is delivered on time. Reporting to the Senior Distribution Director, EMEA (based in London), the post-holder will help ensure that we achieve our ambitious revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will prepare high-impact sales pitch materials using accurate, up-to-date availability, rights information and data insights, while managing the operational processes required for successful content roll-outs. This will involve close collaboration with the Production, Operations, Localisation and Marketing teams.

A keen problem-solver with strong proficiency in modern office technologies and digital productivity tools, the successful candidate will take ownership of deal and delivery trackers, reports and analyses, ensuring the team has a reliable overview of its pipeline, revenue and delivery status.

Responsibilities:

Sales Support

Manage the Distribution team’s day-to-day sales support requirements, including creating high-impact sales pitch materials, keeping availability lists up to date, promptly entering deals into the sales tracker, and producing updated reports and analyses.

Create and tailor sales presentations, pitch decks, catalogue sheets, title lists and screener links for individual buyers, platforms and territories.

Maintain accurate and regularly updated availability information by title, territory, platform, rights window and language, ensuring that all information is checked against contractual rights and restrictions.

Prepare sales briefings, avails and other materials for buyer meetings and key industry markets (e.g. MIPCOM).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including Production, Localisation, Operations, Legal, Marketing and Finance, to ensure successful and timely content roll-outs and reporting.

Work with Production, Operations and Localisation to confirm delivery schedules, materials and language versions (dubs and subtitles).

Work with the CRM team to ensure that contract terms, rights information and tracker entries are aligned, escalating any discrepancies promptly.

Keep the Distribution team informed of delivery status, potential risks and delays.

Data Management, Extraction and Consolidation

Take ownership of the collection, extraction, consolidation and maintenance of distribution-related data, ensuring that the team has access to accurate, accessible and reliable information to support commercial and operational decision-making across a wide range of platforms and company data tools.

Extract and consolidate data from multiple sources, including internal databases, management systems and finance reports.

Analyse revenue, performance and other data by territory, platform and title to identify opportunities, gaps and risks.

Monitor children’s content trends and competitor activity, translating findings into clear recommendations for the team.

Identify opportunities to streamline data collection through improved processes, reporting methodologies and automation.

What Success Looks Like

Availability lists are consistently accurate and up to date, with no rights conflicts

Pitch materials are prepared ahead of every meeting and industry market.

Deal and delivery trackers are complete, up to date and serve as the single source of truth.

Content is delivered on schedule, with issues identified, flagged and resolved at an early stage.

Research and analysis of children’s content market trends, competitor activity and evolving distribution strategies across EMEA are conducted using all available data points.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of five years’ experience in a content distribution support, sales support or rights and avails administration role within the media or entertainment industry. Experience in children’s content and programming is advantageous but not essential.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in modern office technologies and digital productivity tools, including advanced Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups and complex formulas) and PowerPoint or Google Slides for creating polished pitch materials. Experience with rights management, CRM or deal-tracking systems is an advantage.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to identify discrepancies, establish root causes and resolve issues independently.

Data Literacy: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and translate it into clear, concise insights for non-technical colleagues.

Organisation: Excellent attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment.

Communication: Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and colleagues across functions and time zones.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
