We're looking for a Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" mindset to join our maintenance team. In this full-time role, you'll help keep Boardwalk at Westlake Apartments — a 1,381-unit community — meeting company standards, resident expectations, and compliance requirements every day. Compensation & Incentives:

Base Pay: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour Up to 50% Rent Discount Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave

As the Service Technician, you will help to:

Troubleshoot and complete service requests including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs Perform preventative maintenance and support day-to-day property upkeep Complete make-readies and help keep curb appeal and community appearance sharp Maintain interior and exterior areas in line with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws Respond quickly and professionally to service requests and resident concerns Keep residents, office staff, and maintenance leadership in the loop on repairs and updates

We're after a well-rounded maintenance professional with real hands-on troubleshooting skills across multiple disciplines. HVAC/EPA/CFC certifications are preferred but not required — we'll support you in earning them. Hours & Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Paid rotating on-call participation required Must be available and prepared for emergency events as needed *Schedule subject to change based on business needs

Active, valid driver's license and a personal vehicle Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills that get to the root cause Someone who does what they say they'll do and treats residents and teammates with respect One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
