The posting

Base Salary: $60,112 Annually

If making a positive impact in the lives of others is always on your to-do list — you’ll LOVE working with a team that puts people first.

We're looking for a Behavior Support Coordinator (BCBA) to join our team!

As a BCBA, you’ll coordinate the Behavior Management Programs to include developing and implementing behavioral training, assessing individual behavior, training staff and monitoring the progress of individuals served.

Who will love this job:

A collaborative teammate – you love working with others and know strong partnerships help achieve the best outcomes for the people you serve

A teacher - not only do you love providing relevant and tangible help to others, but you naturally bring tools and perspectives that facilitate growth and development to those around you.

An empathetic go-getter - you enjoy tackling new challenges and have an innate source of intensity, energy, and passion that enables you to get things done

A solutions-oriented problem-solver - you bring a thorough and conscientious approach to the development and implementation of behavior interventions, treatments, and plans.

Expand your Experiences and Education in ABA at Mosaic!

Mosaic in Illinois is seeking candidates to provide billable services to adults with intellectual disabilities. Candidates must be a licensed BCaBA, BCBA, or have applied for the BACB exam.

Imagine working remotely from your home in a hybrid position outside a lab setting while still interacting with clients in a more natural setting. Behavior Support Coordinators are not “on call” and do not provide crisis support to agencies. The focus is on coaching others to implement strategies developed to promote success with adults living in the community.

Behavior Support Coordinators receive paid travel and phone stipends to travel to the locations where services are provided. Services are centralized in Macomb, Pontiac, and the Rockford areas. These are all thriving locations to live; however, candidates within approximately 60 miles should apply. We have creative solutions that can be discussed.

Are you a BCaBA working toward your BCBA?

  • Mosaic can support your journey with free clinical supervision.
  • BCaBAs have opportunities for unrestricted and restricted hours on the job. That is often a challenge for aspiring BCBAs.
  • A flexible schedule and team of qualified supervisors will help you meet your goals.
  • BCBAs work alongside experts in various fields to increase competence and ability to work with additional populations.
  • Reasonable billing goals to allow more time to research and embark on other experiences.
  • Tuition assistance program

We continue to grow because our staff continues to grow.

Mosaic can assist BCaBAs and BCBAs with CEUs, licensure, and medicaid enrollment.

Mosaic is an ACE provider and assists BCBAs and BCaBAs with their CEUs.

Mosaic can assist with costs of becoming licensed in Illinois and maintaining licensure with the BACB.

Responsibilities include

  • Conduct observations, interviews, and assessments to write a functional behavior assessment that will be the foundation for the behavior support plan.
  • Writing behavior support plans with the person and their team to address all aspects of their life and their goals.
  • Monitoring and coaching staff and caregivers, data collection, and the implementation of ABA strategies.
  • Problem-solve with interdisciplinary teams, both internal and external to the organization, including consultants with expertise in a wide range of areas such as trauma-informed care, clinical psychiatry, social work, etc.
  • Ongoing monitoring of progress and reporting information to the team.

Extras we think you’ll love:

  • Competitive Pay
  • Health Insurance
  • Professional & Personal Development Opportunities
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Paid Time Off (starts accruing immediately!)
  • Daily Pay Benefit!

Schedule: Hybrid Position 8a-5p, Monday through Friday, with some evenings/weekends depending on individual needs/in person training and 50% in person and 50% in home office. 2 hour (or less) commute to MACIL required.

Commitment to Mosaic Values:

At Mosaic, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone has the chance to contribute and succeed. This commitment is not just a policy, it's the way we work. It's good for the workforce, it's good for Mosaic, and it's the right thing to do.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in the area of intervention and support.
  • Certification in CPR and first aid is required, as is a valid state driver's license. Must complete ongoing inservice training as mandated.
  • Previous experience in designing and implementing positive behavior programs is preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
