Associate Lead Data Engineer

Our client, a leader in the telecommunications sector, is seeking an experienced Associate Lead Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. If you're passionate about data visualization and optimizing analytics platforms, this role is a perfect fit for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand Visualization Use Cases: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations for data visualizations.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Work closely with business unit data enablers to ensure high-quality visual outputs and testing.
  • Visual Optimization: Conduct quality assurance for visual optimization to enhance the effectiveness of dashboards and data sources.
  • Platform Oversight: Manage and monitor Tableau, Microsoft, and AWS Analytics platforms to ensure the quality, availability, and continuous maintenance of dashboards (e.g., Sales Operation Center, Network Operation Center).
  • Data Integration & Automation: Enhance data visualization by integrating new data sources and optimizing SQL queries, data uploads, and dashboard performance.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Partner with Data Engineering and Business Unit teams to create solutions that align with best practices.
  • Dashboard Development: Develop new dashboards and insights, providing valuable business intelligence for management and end-users.
  • User Experience Improvement: Continuously improve the end-user experience through research and implementation of user-friendly, low-code/no-code, and AI-driven platforms.
  • UI/UX Design: Utilize advanced UI/UX design skills to create intuitive, user-friendly dashboards that enhance user engagement.
  • Tailored Presentations: Present visualizations to diverse audiences, including senior management and end-users, tailoring content to their needs and understanding.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure successful visualization development.
  • Clear Communication: Translate complex data insights into actionable business intelligence that drives decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering and data visualization.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including PL/SQL and T-SQL.
  • Expertise in RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL), NoSQL databases, and Big Data technologies.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Ability to integrate new data sources and optimize dashboard performance.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex data insights into clear business intelligence.
