Manager - Group Sourcing & Supply Chain (Non-Technical RM)

Join an innovation-driven company, one of Asia’s largest manufacturers of apparel, sportswear, performance wear, and swimwear. Our client blends daring and visionary thinking to lead the industry.

They are looking for a talented professional to lead their Non-Technical Raw Material team, driving the group procurement strategy to provide a competitive advantage.

The primary objective is to direct business units in Category Management for Sewing Trims, Accessories, Embellishment, and Indirect Material categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Non-Technical Raw Material team in fulfilling category management requirements.
  • Oversee sourcing contracts, supplier allocations, pricing strategies, and future pricing methodologies.
  • Drive strategic sourcing functions using a seven-step process, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract awarding.
  • Monitor savings against targets and identify areas of non-compliance.
  • Conduct risk assessments for categories and develop mitigation plans.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships through regular reviews and performance monitoring.
  • Foster innovation in products and processes to achieve cost benefits.
  • Collaborate with SBUs to develop category strategies and value creation initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Business Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • 5-6 years of experience, with 1-3 years in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.

Challenges:

  • Gaining stakeholder support for change management.
  • Managing limited data visibility.

Working Conditions: General office/factory environment with travel as needed.
