In this role, you'll lead and influence every stage of project delivery, from engineering design and construction support to contract management and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to solve complex challenges, drive collaboration, and ensure the successful execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects.

  • Manage and develop a team of Engineering Leads and Project Engineers supporting utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects, including resource planning, workload balancing, and performance reviews.
  • Support the development and execution of team development plans, providing mentorship and training to enhance technical knowledge, leadership skills, and ownership among team members.
  • Ensure proper mentorship of junior engineers to ensure consistent application of technical guidelines, design optimization techniques, compliance processes, and Moss standards.

  • Support the Senior Engineering Manager in continuous process improvement initiatives, to enhance engineering efficiency, design standardization, and process automation.
  • Gain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, product innovations, and regulatory changes affecting solar and energy storage systems.
  • Ensure proper collaboration with the engineering team and project management, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of engineering deliverables.
  • Facilitate project kick-offs with clients, EORs, and AHJs as needed
  • Manage engineering inputs to procurement packages, RFIs, construction drawings, and as-built documentation
  • Oversee the engineering aspects of utility-scale solar projects from project award through to project closeout, ensuring adherence to critical milestones such as design reviews, procurement, and construction deadlines
  • Ensure EOR designs comply with the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction), codes and regulations, utility interconnection standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Accountable for team adherence to quality assurance processes and engineering best practices to ensure high-quality project engineering execution. Support Field Operations to ensure project engineering deliverables are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest construction standards.
  • Provide final review of EOR subcontracts and change orders, ensuring compliance with project requirements and budget.
  • Support Preconstruction teams in Owner contract negotiations.
  • Assist the Senior Engineering Manager in updating project engineering timelines to help forecast resources for new projects and facilitate a balanced workload within the team.
  • Establish and maintain core relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accountable for ensuring effective communication in weekly coordination calls between EORs and owners, reviewing RFIs and engineering deliverable schedule shifts, submittals, and addressing design clarifications through construction and the project lifecycle as needed.
  • Assist the Schedule Manager in creating and updating project engineering deliverable dates every week or as needed.
  • Serve as the engineering point of contact for clients, utilities, independent engineers (IEs), and permitting agencies as needed.
  • Address project-level escalations between EORs, Project Management, Owners, and AHJs promptly and effectively, providing solutions to technical challenges.
  • Interface with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Represent the engineering team in project meetings, client presentations, utility interconnection discussions, and permitting hearings as needed.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
