The posting

We are committed to providing a stable, growth-oriented, and inspiring work environment that offers opportunities for professional, personal, and financial growth. If you're interested in joining a growing team where YOU are our most valuable asset, Mountain Air Cargo (MAC) is the place for you.

About the Role

As our Parts Clerk, you'll help ensure that parts and supplies are stored and maintained properly and that adequate quantities are available to maintenance personnel — supporting the safe operation and continued airworthiness of the MAC fleet.

What You'll Do

  • Follow and help uphold the safety policies and procedures outlined in company manuals, and demonstrate a daily commitment to continuous safety improvement.
  • Make sure requested parts and supplies are provided in a timely manner and meet the criteria for continued airworthiness, including coordinating with Maintenance Control to move parts between MAC stations as needed.
  • Support compliance with the company's Shelf Life Program for parts and supplies, and the Tool and Test Equipment Calibration Program.
  • Support compliance with FAA requirements related to Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPS).
  • Process shipping and receiving for ATR and Cessna 208 fleet parts.
  • Create and process purchase orders and repair orders.
  • Serve as the primary Hazardous Materials (Haz Mat) shipper for air and ground shipments, including maintaining required Haz Mat shipping documentation for FAA review.
  • Assist other stations with Haz Mat shipping questions and help complete documentation before shipments are tendered to FedEx.
  • Coordinate counter-to-counter courier shipments to deliver AOG (Aircraft on Ground) parts to MAC stations or the current location of MAC aircraft.
  • Travel to MAC line stations to perform physical inventories, research and reconcile discrepancies, and report findings to FedEx.
  • Manage inventory control for the Heavy Maintenance Facility, issuing parts and quantities with the correct codes for billing and reporting.
  • Help prepare parts reports for internal departments and the customer as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Detail-oriented, with basic Excel and Word skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Prior aviation, parts handling, or inventory control experience is a plus, but not required.

Additional Requirements

  • Must complete a course and obtain Haz Mat Shipping Certification (training provided).
  • Ability to travel to offsite locations as needed; must be reachable by phone during off-duty hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle/package parts.
  • Some overtime and weekend work as scheduled to meet mission requirements.
  • Work is typically performed in an office and/or parts room / hangar environment; travel may involve exposure to noise, chemicals, adverse temperatures, and similar conditions.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Compensation & Benefits

$16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience.

Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company match. Mountain Air Cargo participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm employment eligibility once you are hired.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
