POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Product Owner - Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) is a key facilitator for the CFC product vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery priorities that enable integrated cyber defense across Incident Detection and Response (IDR), Threat Intel & Operations, and Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM). This role translates operational needs, cyber risk, intelligence, and stakeholder priorities into measurable product outcomes that improve threat visibility, detection quality, response effectiveness, vulnerability risk reduction, and the overall analyst experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Builds Cyber Fusion Center customer and internal facing products with superior user experience across multiple verticals (Incident Detection and Response (IDR), Threat Intelligence and Operations, and Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM), accountable for an established or moderate complexity product.
  • Ensures alignment between teams to build and prioritize Cyber Fusion Center product roadmaps, plan releases, and align them with business objectives and cyber-risk outcomes.
  • Collaborates with Agile teams, stakeholders, and business representatives across IDR, Threat Intelligence and Operations, and TVM to address and resolve issues that arise during product development.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as IDR, Threat Intelligence and Operations, TVM, Research and Development, User Experience (UX), and business and operations teams, to align on product strategies, gather insights, and plan releases.
  • Identifies product-related issues across the Cyber Fusion Center, makes decisions and continuously does trade-off analyses to ensure development stays on track toward deliverable commitments.
  • Prioritizes the short-term feature backlog and releases across the Cyber Fusion Center, as well as the long-term product roadmap for Cyber Fusion Center products.
  • Conducts customer research, product discovery and synthesizes market factors into a cohesive Cyber Fusion Center product strategy.
  • Collaborates with customers to understand challenges & opportunities, applying analytics, orchestration, automation, and artificial intelligence where they improve cyber-risk reduction or operational effectiveness.
  • Collects quantitative data and takes a data driven approach to evaluate the viability of Cyber Fusion Center product initiatives.
  • Writes epics and stories to support completion of Cyber Fusion Center initiatives; ensures stories clearly communicate the customer and stakeholder (analysts, investigators, threat specialists, vulnerability practitioners, and cyber leaders) needs to meet key business objectives and strategies for the product; promotes Agile approaches to product development across teams/areas.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Product Owner certification preferred
  • Agile/Scrum certifications strongly preferred.
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in product ownership, product management, cybersecurity, or technology delivery, including demonstrated experience leading complex products or capability portfolios across multiple teams highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting security operations, Incident Detection and Response (IDR), Threat Intelligence and Operations, Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM), security data and analytics, or cyber automation strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to define and deliver product roadmaps for complex cybersecurity or technology capabilities, integrating user needs, operational data, cyber-risk insights, technical dependencies, and business objectives into measurable outcomes preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of security operations and exposure-management capabilities, including SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence platforms, endpoint and network telemetry, vulnerability scanning and prioritization, case management, data integrations, automation, analytics, and reporting preferred.
  • Experience driving adoption and organizational change for cybersecurity capabilities across cross-functional teams, including new workflows, data practices, automation, and decision frameworks while maintaining operational continuity preferred.

Industry product knowledge is crucial for professionals working in sales, marketing, customer service, product development, and various other roles within a company. It enables individuals to effectively communicate the value propositions of products, address customer inquiries, identify market trends, make informed business decisions, and contribute to the development and improvement of products and services within the industry. This knowledge often requires staying updated with the latest advancements, technologies, and market dynamics within the specific industry domain.
  • Product Development - The creation, innovation, enhancement or improvement of an existing product, or developing an entirely new kind of product to satisfy the requirements of its end-users.
  • Product Lifecycle Management - The handling of a good as it moves through the typical stages of its product life: development and introduction, growth, maturity/stability, and decline
  • User Experience - User Experience (UX) refers to the overall experience that a person has when interacting with a product, service, or system, especially in terms of how easy or pleasing it is to use
