MPLC provides a legal way to show movies and TV in public or commercial spaces across the globe. Our business has been running for 30 years, and we are the number one trusted partner to studios and producers for public performance licensing. We work with every major Hollywood studio and hundreds of independents, and we work hard to educate organizations about the importance of respecting copyright. MPLC is a key player in the entertainment and intellectual property ecosystem.

We are on a truly exciting journey as a company. We’re growing quickly, investing in our teams, and we have bold plans to make 2026 our best year ever. As part of our growth, we are hiring a Small Business Account Executive.

The job in two bullet points:

  • Drive Outbound Growth: Own a high-volume outbound sales desk, prospecting, cold calling, and closing new small business accounts across U.S. time zones.
  • Secure Compliance: Help businesses protect themselves legally while showing movies and TV in commercial spaces.

The Reality & Expectations

This is a high-activity, metrics-driven outbound role spanning multiple time zones (PST through EST). You will manage a full sales cycle from cold prospecting to close. It requires thick skin, daily consistency, and a passion for hitting quotas.

Who You Are

  • The Hunter: You thrive on building your own pipeline from scratch rather than waiting for warm leads. You don't need hand-holding.
  • Resilient & Tenacious: You bounce back immediately from rejection, handle high call volumes without losing momentum, and remain thoughtful and empathetic with prospects.
  • Experienced: 1–2+ years of B2B sales or cold-calling experience. Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Gong is a strong plus.
  • Autonomous & Collaborative: Self-sufficient in a fully remote environment while staying a supportive team player.

Job benefits

  • Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 base salary + uncapped commissions
