The posting

2nd–4th Year Apprentice Electrician- Calgary

$24.00–$37.00/hour | Full-Time | Benefits

Looking for better pay, steady work and a crew that actually gets the job done?

MPN Electrical is hiring Registered Electrical Apprentices in Calgary to join our growing construction team.

We specialize in new multifamily residential and commercial construction, and we're looking for apprentices who want steady hours, good wages and the opportunity to become better electricians. Applicants must in Calgary or surrounding area

What we're offering

  • $24.00–$37.00/hour, depending on apprenticeship level and experience
  • Full-time, year-round work
  • Extended health and dental benefits
  • Opportunities to develop your skills and move into Lead Hand, Foreman and other leadership positions
  • Established projects in Calgary
  • A company that recognizes good work and promotes from within

Who we're looking for

We're interested in apprentices at different stages of their apprenticeship, but you need to be:

  • Registered as an Electrical Apprentice
  • Reliable and able to show up every day
  • Safety conscious
  • Hard working
  • Able to work as part of a crew
  • Proud of the quality of your work

Multifamily residential construction experience is an asset.

What you'll be doing

You'll work alongside experienced Journeymen and Foremen on new construction projects, including:

  • Rough-in and electrical installation
  • Suites and common areas
  • Parkades and service areas
  • Distribution, lighting and branch wiring
  • Reading drawings and layouts
  • Working safely and productively as part of an electrical crew

We don't expect apprentices to know everything. We do expect you to show up, work hard, ask questions and want to improve.

Already working with a good crew?

If you've got a solid group of electricians who work well together, talk to us. We may be interested in bringing the whole crew over.

Interested?

Apply with your resume and tell us what year of apprenticeship you're currently in.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?
