The posting

You will own our organic, paid and creator content: what we make, why, and what we learn from it. We are a direct-to-consumer brand designing our own tableware, lighting and home decor.

You will create the content strategy, make the content with our studio and team, understand how it performs, and turn what you learn into new ideas and more content. You will manage our videographer and Junior Social Media Manager, and be the link between our brand, social and paid teams, making content that looks like us and also converts.

What you'll do

  • Create the strategy. Set the content plan for organic, paid and creators across every channel, linked to launches, campaigns and trading priorities. This includes the social strategy for @mrsalice, @mrsaliceshop and @Serena_fresson.
  • Plan every shoot. Agree each shoot with the Head of Brand, who brings our flex studio team together, and check with the paid media team what they need. Arrive with a clear plan and a bank of ideas, and make sure we capture what organic and paid need on the day.
  • Make the content. Set the reel plan and edit organic, with our videographer. Turn our best social, campaign and product content into ads that work in the feed, and edit them yourself: statics, carousels, video, hook variants, cutdowns, captions and resizes for each placement.
  • Work with creators. With the Junior Social Media Manager, brief creators and customers for UGC and track usage rights.
  • Understand the performance. Run structured tests across concepts, hooks, formats and products on Meta, Pinterest, YouTube and Google. Share a weekly view of what is working across organic, paid and creators, and why.
  • Get new ideas. Use ad results, customer reviews, site behaviour, competitor ads and trends on TikTok, YouTube and beyond to decide what to make next.
  • Make more. Turn what we learn into clear briefs covering format, hook, message and audience. Spot creative fatigue early and keep a steady pipeline of fresh content in every channel.
  • Lead the team and keep the brand right. Manage our videographer and Junior Social Media Manager, and work closely with the Head of Brand so everything fits the brand guidelines and the Founder's creative sign-off.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years in creative strategy for paid and organic social, in a direct-to-consumer or ecommerce brand
  • Strong at writing briefs, with an eye for what makes people stop scrolling
  • Hands-on with editing short-form video for ads in tools such as CapCut or Premiere, with examples you have cut yourself
  • Design skills for statics and carousels
  • A clear sense of what content builds brand awareness, engagement and sales, organic as well as paid
  • Comfortable working closely with designers, photographers and video editors
  • A track record of improving ad results through creative testing, with examples you can talk through
  • Confident reading Meta Ads Manager and similar platform data
  • Organised, able to run several briefs and launches at once while managing and motivating a small team
  • A passion for ‘brand engagement’ and strong alignment with the Mrs. Alice brand
  • Experience in homeware, interiors, lifestyle, beauty or fashion
  • Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube experience
  • Experience briefing creators and managing UGC

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
