The Crypto Product Manager is accountable for leading the end-to-end delivery of a strategic digital asset and cryptocurrency initiative. The role translates business strategy into an executable roadmap, coordinates work across Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and external partners, and ensures the platform is launched and operated with appropriate controls. This leader serves as the central point of accountability for scope, priorities, dependencies, decisions, risks, and executive communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program leadership: Own the integrated program plan from strategy and design through build, launch, stabilization, and ongoing enhancement.
  • Product and business direction: Define business requirements, customer journeys, operating assumptions, and prioritized capabilities in partnership with product leaders and subject-matter experts.
  • Cross-functional execution: Align Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Audit, and other stakeholders around milestones, deliverables, ownership, and decisions.
  • Governance and executive communication: Establish effective forums, decision rights, status reporting, and escalation paths; provide clear updates on progress, tradeoffs, risks, and resource needs.
  • Risk and controls: Embed regulatory, compliance, operational, technology, fraud, financial-crime, and third-party requirements into the program design and delivery plan.
  • Third-party management: Coordinate with vendors and market partners, oversee dependencies and service readiness, and drive resolution of performance, integration, and production issues.
  • Operational readiness: Ensure procedures, staffing, support models, monitoring, incident management, reconciliations, controls, and management reporting are in place before launch.
  • Issue resolution: Lead rapid, fact-based resolution of blockers and production incidents, clarify accountability, and drive corrective and preventive actions to completion.
  • Delivery discipline: Manage scope, budget, timelines, resources, dependencies, and change control while maintaining focus on critical outcomes.
  • Continuous improvement: Use customer, operational, risk, and performance data to identify enhancements and strengthen the platform after launch.

Leadership Expectations

  • Create clarity in a complex, fast-moving, and highly regulated environment.
  • Influence senior leaders and partner teams without relying solely on direct authority.
  • Balance speed to market with sustainable controls, operational resilience, and customer protection.
  • Make timely decisions, surface tradeoffs early, and maintain accountability across workstreams.
  • Build trust through transparent communication, disciplined follow-through, and strong command of program details.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant experience leading complex, enterprise-scale products, platform, or transformation programs in financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into business requirements, delivery plans, governance, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong working knowledge of digital assets, cryptocurrency products, custody and execution models, market structure, or related financial technology.
  • Experience partnering with technology, operations, risk, legal, compliance, audit, and third-party providers.
  • Proven skill in executive communication, stakeholder management, issue resolution, and decision facilitation.
  • Sound judgment, high ownership, and the ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
