Overview Le/La Technicien(ne) en machines à coudre industrielles est responsable de l’installation, de la maintenance, du diagnostic des pannes et de la réparation des machines à coudre industrielles ainsi que des équipements associés, afin d’assurer le bon fonctionnement et l’efficacité des opérations de production. Ce poste contribue à la performance de la production en réduisant les temps d’arrêt, en optimisant les performances des machines et en garantissant le respect des normes de qualité et de sécurité. The Sewing Machine Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial sewing machines and related equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. The role supports production by minimizing downtime, improving machine performance, and maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Principales responsabilités Installer, configurer et régler les machines à coudre industrielles et les équipements associés. Effectuer la maintenance préventive conformément aux programmes d’entretien établis. Diagnostiquer les pannes mécaniques, électriques et pneumatiques, puis réaliser les réparations nécessaires. Intervenir rapidement en cas de panne afin de minimiser les interruptions de production. Régler et calibrer les machines pour garantir la qualité des coutures et l’efficacité de la production. Remplacer les pièces usées ou défectueuses telles que les aiguilles, moteurs, courroies, boucleurs et mécanismes d’entraînement. Tenir à jour les dossiers de maintenance, les rapports d’intervention et le suivi de l’utilisation des pièces de rechange. Accompagner les équipes de production dans l’utilisation des machines et le dépannage de premier niveau. Veiller à ce que les équipements fonctionnent conformément aux normes de qualité et de sécurité. Participer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue et de réduction des coûts. Maintenir la propreté des machines et des zones de travail, et assurer leur bonne lubrification. Responsibilities Install, set up, and adjust industrial sewing machines and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedules. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and carry out repairs. Troubleshoot machine breakdowns quickly to minimize production downtime. Calibrate machines to ensure proper stitch quality and production efficiency. Replace worn or defective parts such as needles, motors, belts, loopers, and feed mechanisms. Maintain maintenance records, repair logs, and spare parts usage. Support production teams in machine operation and basic troubleshooting. Ensure machines operate according to safety and quality standards. Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. Maintain cleanliness and proper lubrication of machines and work areas. Qualifications Compétences et aptitudes requises Solide connaissance des machines à coudre industrielles (point noué, surjeteuse, recouvreuse, bartaqueuse, etc.). Compétences en diagnostic et dépannage mécanique ainsi qu’en électricité de base. Capacité à lire et interpréter des manuels techniques et des schémas de machines. Excellentes capacités d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes. Capacité à travailler sous pression et à réagir rapidement en cas de panne. Sens du détail et engagement envers la qualité. Maîtrise des outils informatiques de base pour le reporting de maintenance (la connaissance d’un système GMAO/CMMS constitue un atout). Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines (lockstitch, overlock, flatlock, bar-tack, etc.). Mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read technical manuals and machine diagrams. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns. Attention to detail and quality. Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting (CMMS is a plus). Formation et expérience Diplôme ou certificat technique en mécanique, électromécanique ou maintenance industrielle. Expérience de 2 à 5 ans en maintenance de machines à coudre industrielles, idéalement dans l’industrie de l’habillement ou du textile. Une expérience des systèmes de maintenance préventive constitue un avantage. Education & Experience Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Maintenance. 2-5 years of experience in sewing machine maintenance, preferably in garment or textile manufacturing.
