Your Purpose ###

As the Senior Assistant Housekeeping Manager aboard our cruise line, your purpose is to play a leading role in the smooth operation and strategic support of the Housekeeping Department. Acting as the right hand of the Housekeeping Manager, you will take a proactive lead in supervising the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest cabins, public areas, and crew quarters. You are a key driver of excellence, ensuring that every corner of the ship reflects our brand-s high standards. Your leadership and expertise will guide a diverse housekeeping team, ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery, and contribute to a superior experience for both Guests and Crew.

Your Impact ###

In your elevated role, your impact will be strategic and visible across the ship. By taking ownership of day-to-day departmental functions and mentoring team leaders, you will ensure impeccable cleanliness and operational excellence. You will be instrumental in translating the Housekeeping Manager-s vision into action, helping to maintain the highest standards of hygiene, presentation, and guest comfort. Your leadership will directly influence guest satisfaction scores and reinforce our company-s reputation for delivering world-class service. You-ll also play a vital role in crew well-being, ensuring their accommodation is maintained with the same level of care.

We-re looking for someone who has:

-Deep Industry Experience: You bring robust experience in housekeeping management, ideally within the cruise line industry or upscale hospitality sector. You are fully at ease with the dynamic environment and high expectations of a shipboard operation.

-Advanced Leadership Skills: You have proven success in supervising large, multicultural teams and working in partnership with senior officers. Your leadership style inspires performance, motivates excellence, and fosters collaboration across departments.

-Operational Mastery: You are highly skilled in executing and overseeing housekeeping protocols, from sanitation and cleanliness to inventory and supply chain coordination. You know how to anticipate challenges and solve them efficiently.

-Guest-Centric Vision: Your professional journey reflects an unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction. You understand how every detail of a clean, organized environment contributes to a memorable cruise experience.

Your Essentials ###

To succeed in this senior role, you-ll need:

-Proven experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager or higher aboard a cruise ship or in a comparable high-end hospitality setting

-In-depth knowledge of housekeeping procedures, sanitation regulations, and inventory systems

-Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and develop large, multicultural teams

-Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with outstanding communication abilities

-Impeccable attention to detail and organizational capabilities

-Ability to thrive under pressure, multitask, and manage shifting priorities with confidence

-Solid understanding of maritime safety protocols and a strong commitment to both guest and crew welfare
