Job Summary

To lead and supervise the construction of luxury bungalows, overseeing demolition, ERSS, reinforced concrete (RC) and structural steel works. Ensure effective engineering coordination, compliance with approved drawings and specifications, adherence to safety and quality standards, and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and supervise demolition works to ensure safe execution in accordance with approved plans, project requirements and relevant regulations.
  2. Oversee Earth Retaining and Stabilising Structures (ERSS) works to ensure structural stability, site safety and compliance with engineering requirements.
  3. Supervise reinforced concrete (RC) structural works to ensure compliance with approved structural drawings, specifications and quality standards.
  4. Manage and supervise structural steel fabrication and erection works, ensuring dimensional accuracy, workmanship and compliance with safety requirements.
  5. Coordinate and oversee structural inspections and testing to verify construction quality, structural integrity and compliance with approved specifications.
  6. Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays and prepare detailed progress reports for project stakeholders.
  7. Maintain, review and update comprehensive records of engineering works, inspection reports, testing results, site documentation and other relevant project records.
  8. Attend and actively participate in site progress meetings, variation meetings and technical coordination meetings to resolve site issues and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  9. Lead and supervise site engineering and construction teams to achieve project milestones while maintaining high standards of workmanship, productivity and safety.
  10. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, contractors and other relevant parties to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
  11. Liaise with Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) teams to coordinate services with structural and architectural works, minimise site clashes and facilitate efficient construction progress.

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in Civil and Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience in supervising building construction, particularly luxury residential developments or bungalow projects.
  • Sound knowledge of demolition, ERSS, reinforced concrete and structural steel works.
  • Proven ability to lead site teams, monitor construction progress and resolve technical and coordination issues.
  • Good understanding of construction safety requirements, quality control procedures and engineering documentation.
  • Experience in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) coordination to facilitate effective integration of building services with structural and architectural works.
  • Good communication, leadership, coordination and reporting skills.
