We are currently looking for a Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate meets safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards.  The Material Handler interacts with other departments to achieve the company’s core strategies and moves products to accommodate production.

Responsibilities:  Material Handling & Workflow

Safely operate forklifts and other material-moving equipment to transport products and supplies. Read and interpret job tickets and layouts to ensure correct materials are delivered to production. Execute production schedules accurately and promptly to maximize throughput. Coordinate workflow with associates across departments to maintain efficiency.

  Documentation & Systems

Accurately complete required documentation for job tracking, payroll, and inventory control. Enter data into systems to support production and shipping accuracy. Label and identify waste containers properly and maintain compliance with disposal procedures.

  Safety & Compliance

Adhere to facility safety policies and procedures, including GMP, HACCP, and BRC standards. Participate in safety observations and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Support daily housekeeping efforts to sustain a safe and efficient warehouse.

    Qualifications: 

High school diploma or equivalent required. Forklift certification and material handling experience required. Basic math, reading, and computer skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move up to 50 lbs regularly; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching required. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes preferred.

  The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
