ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Printing, processing, and matching invoices
  • Keying payments and journal entries into SAP system
  • Review vendor statements as received.
  • Pull out and scan invoices and support for AP payment run.
  • Enter purchase requisition info in the budget tracker based on GL code and update approved requisitions and PO’s invoiced.
  • Calculating and verifying accuracy of vendor transactions
  • Resolving A/P issues with vendors and internal staff
  • Proper allocation of charges
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, greet and direct visitors, and distribute incoming mail.
  • Maintain and update vendor records
  • Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong computer knowledge, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Multi-Tasking and prioritizing abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees and supplies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate clearly
  • Experience with an MRP system (preferably SAP) is an asset
  • Previous experience operating a busy environment is an asset
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization, customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, engineers, etc
