Your Role

The role of the SQM is vital in establishing a functional supply chain during the development & industrialization phase for Munich Electrification products. In close collaboration with the Munich Electrification management team, you are handling all technical & quality related aspects of an exciting OEM customer project. As an SQM, you are also in charge of co-auditing and developing ME suppliers.

You are fully aware of all production and quality requirements and their impact in the supply chain. You are capable of understanding ME expectations to suppliers and you are able to judge and make the right supplier selection after the audits. - Work with the development team on DFM at an early stage of the project with the target to improve the quality and costs of the components.

- Promote best practices such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Poka-Yoke to reduce defects and improve supplier processes.

- Support our internal change management process

- Contribute to new business initiatives, supplier strategies in close collaboration with the Purchasing Organization (e.g. VDA 6.8 ME catalogue extension)

What you bring with you

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing) is required; a Master's degree is highly preferred.

- 3+ years of progressive experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Quality Management, or Manufacturing Engineering

- Experience with manufacturing of electronics products

- Proven experience in leading the APQP process end-to-end for complex, critical components and directly managing Production Partner quality relationships.

- Expert, demonstrable application of all core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) at a strategic level (defining the tools, not just using them)

- Strong ability to drive, influence, and negotiate resource allocation and systemic process changes across internal functions (R&D, Sourcing) and external production partner organizations to ensure quality compliance.

- Demonstrated willingness and ability to act as the final authority on critical quality issues, accepting full ownership of systemic failures and complex change management processes

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
