VCA Colonial Animal Hospital is a growing hybrid hospital and proud to be one of the premier providers of primary, specialty, and emergency care in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. Our hospital operates 24/7/365, serving clients with dedication and compassion.

Duties Include but not limited to:

  • Triage and assessment of the critical ill patient
  • Physical examinations and patient assessment
  • Venipuncture and Catheter placement
  • Invasive monitoring, Anesthesia monitoring
  • CT/Hands free Radiology
  • CRI's, blood transfusions, IV and oral medication administration
  • Laboratory work
  • Pharmacy
  • Advanced nursing skills- nasogastric tubes, central lines, nasal cannulas, urinary catheters (as experience allows)

Compensation: $26 - $32 / hour, dependent on experience and skill set. plus $2 ON differential

Schedule: Swing, Overnights, Weekends.
