Job Title: CarpenterEmployer: KadroBuild Timber LimitedLocation: Coachford Business Park, Coachford, Macroom, Co. Cork, P12 EA37Salary: €36,605 p.a.Hours: 39 hours per weekKey Responsibilities:• Measure, mark, cut and shape timber and other construction materials according to technical drawings and specifications.• Assemble, install and repair timber structures, frameworks, roof components, wall panels, floors and related construction elements.• Construct and fit timber frame components ensuring structural integrity and compliance with quality standards.• Install doors, frames, partitions, cladding and other wooden fixtures as required.• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools and woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance with construction requirements.• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work environment.• Collaborate with supervisors, site teams and production personnel to complete projects efficiently. Requirements• A genuine interest in carpentry, joinery, and timber construction.• Previous experience in a construction, carpentry, manufacturing, or woodworking environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.• Hard-working, motivated, flexible, and able to work well in a busy environment.• Ability to communicate in the English language.• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.• Commitment to health and safety standards.
