  • Ensure compliance with @one requirements, statutory regulations, and approved method statements
  • Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks, and pre-start briefings to embed a strong safety culture
  • Monitor temporary works, plant checks, permits, and ensure all works are delivered safely and compliantly
  • Lead by example on site, actively promoting near-miss reporting and good housekeeping standards
  • Drive quality by ensuring inspection and test plans are followed and works are “right first time”
  • Track and report daily progress, resolving any issues that could affect delivery or budget
  • Order, coordinate, and manage construction plant and materials efficiently
  • Support and mentor site teams, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, customers, and the public, maintaining respect and professionalism at all times

About You

  • A CSCS Supervisor card and proven supervisory experience in civil construction works
  • CITB SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid qualifications
  • CPCS Lift Supervisor and Temporary Works Supervisor accreditations (desirable)
  • NRSWA Supervisor and HSG47 training in underground service avoidance
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate site teams and subcontractors
  • A practical, problem-solving approach with strong organisational and planning skills
  • IT literacy and an openness to adopting new technologies and digital tools
  • A track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and to a high standard within the construction or water sector

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
