Als Buyer Fashion bij My Jewellery ben je verantwoordelijk voor de inkoop van onze kledingcollecties. Jij zorgt ervoor dat geselecteerde ontwerpen worden omgezet in volwaardige artikelen, tegen de beste commerciële voorwaarden. Van prijsonderhandelingen tot het beoordelen van samples: jij bewaakt de balans tussen kwaliteit, kosten en levertijden.

Je schakelt dagelijks met internationale leveranciers, voornamelijk in het Verre Oosten. Je onderhandelt over prijzen en levervoorwaarden, lost productieproblemen op en zorgt voor een volledige en tijdige overdracht van orders naar de productie. Daarbij gebruik je jouw productkennis en commerciële inzicht om het beste resultaat te behalen voor onze collecties.

Je werkt nauw samen met Product Developers, Fit Technicians en Production Planners. Ook ben je betrokken bij het lifecycle management van onze artikelen en signaleer je kansen om processen te verbeteren.

Je versterkt ons inkoopteam voor een periode van zes maanden ter vervanging van een verlof. Een mooie kans om jouw ervaring in fashion buying en productie in te zetten binnen een ambitieus e-commerce bedrijf.

Jouw taken

  • Je onderhandelt met internationale leveranciers over inkoopprijzen, levertijden en commerciële voorwaarden;
  • Je onderhoudt contact met leveranciers wereldwijd en schakelt bij productieproblemen om passende oplossingen te vinden;
  • Je werkt samen met Fit Technicians tijdens fittings van proto samples en vertaalt jouw feedback naar concrete productaanpassingen, met behoud van het oorspronkelijke ontwerp;
  • Je zorgt voor een correcte en tijdige overdracht van orders aan de Production Controllers;
  • Je analyseert leveranciersprestaties op basis van prijs, leverbetrouwbaarheid, doorverkoop en marge en bespreekt de resultaten;
  • Je signaleert verbeterkansen binnen het lifecycle management van artikelen en de bijbehorende inkoop- en productieprocessen.
  • Je beschikt over hbo werk- en denkniveau;
  • Je hebt minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie binnen inkoop, productie, private label of retail, bij voorkeur in damesmode;
  • Je hebt sterke onderhandelingsvaardigheden, commercieel inzicht en werkt analytisch en gestructureerd;
  • Je hebt goede productkennis van kleding, inzicht in productieprocessen en workmanship en kunt samples inhoudelijk beoordelen;
  • Je hebt ervaring met leveranciers in het Verre Oosten, beheerst de Engelse taal goed en communiceert helder met verschillende stakeholders.
