⭐Hey- Do you know Arkadia Space?🪐
Arkadia Space is an European company specializing in space propulsion, headquartered in Castellón, Spain. We develop innovative green propulsion systems for the in-space market. Our systems are already flying, and we are scaling rapidly.
We design, build and test real hardware contributing to some of Europe’s most inspiring space programmes.
👨🚀About the Position🛰️
As a Harness Design & Assembly Technician at Arkadia Space, you will contribute to the development and manufacturing of the electrical harnesses used across our propulsion systems, test equipment, and associated hardware.
This is a highly hands-on technical role, combining harness design, preparation and assembly with electrical integration, inspection, testing, and technical documentation.
You will work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to turn electrical designs into reliable, high-quality hardware ready for integration and testing.
You'll be doing:
- Design and support the design wire harnesses according to the intended applications and based on the required system specifications and produce the required drawings, schematics, wiring lists and technical documentation associated with them. Implementation of CAD models ideally.
- Manufacture and assemble electrical harnesses and cable assemblies according to drawings, schematics, wiring lists, and technical documentation.
- Perform wire preparation, cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, connector assembly, routing, sleeving, and labelling using the appropriate tools and processes.
- Provide feedback about the design and development of electrical harnesses, contributing practical manufacturing input to improve their reliability, manufacturability, and integration.
- Perform electrical inspections and testing, including continuity, insulation, pin-to-pin verification, and identification of assembly defects.
- Support the integration of harnesses with propulsion systems, test benches, instrumentation, sensors, valves, and other electrical equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot wiring, connector, and electrical integration issues, working closely with the engineering team to resolve them.
- Maintain appropriate manufacturing and quality documentation, ensuring traceability of materials, components, inspections, and completed assemblies.
- Ensure work is carried out according to applicable quality, safety, cleanliness, and manufacturing standards.
What you'll need
- Technical qualification such as Higher Vocational Training (CFGS) or Intermediate Vocational Training (CFGM) in Electronics, Electrical Systems, Automation, Electromechanical Systems, or a related technical field.
