About the Role
1 Year Contract Credit Analyst, Corporate Banking #BJJ
Salary: S$6,000 – S$8,000 per month
Responsibilities
• Prepare comprehensive credit applications, annual reviews, credit assessments and approval papers for new and existing corporate clients.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, including assessment of financial statements, cash flow projections, repayment capacity and overall creditworthiness.
• Perform industry and business risk assessments and provide sound credit recommendations.
• Support the end-to-end credit process, including credit approvals, documentation, fulfilment of approval conditions and post-approval monitoring.
• Coordinate with Legal, Credit and other support functions to ensure timely completion of documentation and approval requirements.
• Monitor covenant compliance, review key due dates and assess overall portfolio quality.
• Handle day-to-day credit administration and operational matters, including loan drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixing, approvals and management reporting.
• Liaise with customers, product partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth client servicing and transaction execution.
• Support Relationship Managers in managing corporate client relationships and identifying potential business opportunities.
Qualifications
• Degree in Banking, Finance, Accountancy, Business or a related discipline.
Required Skills
• Relevant experience in Corporate Banking or Commercial Banking, particularly in credit analysis and assessment.
• Experience covering Financial Institutions will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and credit evaluation skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess cash flow projections.
• Good understanding of corporate lending, credit risk and banking products.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
• Experience covering Financial Institutions will be an added advantage.
Pay range and compensation package
• Salary: S$6,000 – S$8,000 per month
