The posting

Name of Authority: Haig Girls' School

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.

Option period: 1 January 2028 to 31 December 2028.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

* School term: Mondays to Thursdays, 6:30am to 3:30pm; Fridays, 6:30am to 3:00pm.

* School holidays: Mondays to Thursdays, 7:00am to 4:00pm; Fridays, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

* Each day includes a 30-minute lunch break; total working time is 42 hours per week excluding lunch.

* Full-time commitment to the above hours is required. Hours may change according to school operational needs.

* Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Requirements:

* At least four GCE O-Level passes or equivalent are preferred.

* Fluent English for handling enquiries, communicating with students and parents, and preparing administrative records is preferred.

* Strong communication, writing, organisation and record-keeping skills are preferred.

* Ability to move around the school to carry out reception, sick-bay and administrative duties safely is preferred.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email management is preferred.

* Ability to complete assigned tasks independently and proactively is preferred.

* Customer service experience is preferred; First Aid certification is an advantage.

Job Scopes:

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. Reception duties (approximately 80%): provide customer service at the General Office counter, handle internal and external enquiries, answer calls, attend to walk-ins and receive deliveries.

2. Assist unwell students in the sick bay and support sick-bay management.

3. Administrative duties (approximately 20%): verify documents, maintain and update records, and collate outgoing mail and deliveries.

4. Maintain the lost-and-found logbook and office stationery stocks.

5. File, organise and archive documents, and perform other duties assigned by the school.
