Name of Authority: Beacon Primary School

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.

Option period: 1 January 2028 to 31 December 2028.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

* Mondays to Wednesdays and Fridays: 6:45am to 3:00pm, inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break.

* Thursdays: 6:45am to 5:00pm, inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break.

* Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays or school holidays, except school-holiday days requested by the school.

Requirements:

* NITEC in Office Skills or at least five GCE O-Level passes, including English. Candidates without the required O-Level passes may also be considered based on relevant experience.

* At least two years of relevant experience as an Administrative Support Officer or in a similar role with comparable duties.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and common office software.

* Resourcefulness and the ability to obtain information from various sources, including the internet.

* Good interpersonal and customer-service skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Experience working in schools and with young children is preferred.

Job Scopes:

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages and convey them to the relevant parties.

2. Staff the reception area, attend to visitors and maintain a clean and tidy reception space.

3. Assist with visitor security procedures, including signing in and out.

4. Collate class registers and student attendance, and assist with issuing registers to students or teachers.

5. Prepare meeting rooms, direct visitors and arrange refreshments when required.

6. Help school staff collate non-confidential information and file non-confidential documents.

7. Perform other administrative work assigned by the Principal, Vice-Principals or Administration Manager.
