The posting

Job position: Administrative Support Officer

Salary range: 2200-2900

Name of Authority: Tampines MeridianJunior College

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31December 2027.

Option period: 1 January 2028 to 31December 2028.

Personnel to be deployed atthe following hours:

· Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm; Fridays:7:30am to 4:30pm. Each day includes a one-hour lunch break.

· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays andgazetted public holidays.

Requirements:

· GCE O-Level or Nitec certification.

· Good communication, interpersonal andcustomer-service skills are preferred.

· Organisation, accurate record-keeping, attentionto detail and the ability to prioritise multiple routine tasks are preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel ispreferred; basic poster/signage preparation skills are an advantage.

· Ability to work independently andcollaboratively, show initiative and handle information discreetly ispreferred.

· Administrative/reception experience ispreferred, ideally in a school setting; ability to interact with students,staff, parents and the public.

Job Scopes:

The Servicesrequired are set out as follows:

1. Handle incomingcalls and walk-in enquiries, take messages, escalate matters and follow uproutine requests.

2. Support YearHeads with attendance and student administration, and attend to student andstaff enquiries.

3. Maintainloan-item records, including uniforms and blazers, and receive and distributemail.

4. Support inventoryand storeroom administration.

5. Collate data,prepare basic Excel charts, tables and summaries, and assist with reports,statistics and presentation materials.

6. Check attendanceand examination records and support examination administration and logistics.

7. Support schoolevents and activities, prepare notices and directional signs, and distributeand collect materials.

8. Carry out otheradministrative duties assigned by School Leaders and Administration Managers.
