Job position: Science Lab Assistant

Salary range: 1800-2300

Name of Authority: Rivervale PrimarySchool

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31December 2027.

Personnel to be deployed atthe following hours:

· Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 1:30pm, inclusiveof a one-hour lunch break.

· Ad-hoc E2K Science duties and school-holidayservice may be required.

· Service not required on PSLE Oral, ListeningComprehension and marking days, Saturdays, Sundays or gazetted public holidays.

Requirements:

· Strong teamwork, organisation and attention todetail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Microsoft Office proficiency is preferred.

· Experience working in a school laboratory ispreferred.

Job Scopes:

The Servicesrequired are set out as follows:

1. Prepare apparatusand experiment setups and assist teachers with Science experiments inlaboratories or classrooms.

2. Conductstocktaking twice yearly, at mid-year and year-end.

3. Maintain a clean,tidy Science Laboratory.

4. Care for thespices and herbs, cactus and fernery, hydroponics and vertical-garden ScienceCorners.

5. Assist withharvesting and transplanting in the hydroponics and vertical gardens.

6. Supportrecess-time Science activities and the Thursday recess recycling programme.
