Technical Specialist (Water Treatment & Chemicals)

$7,500 – $9,000

Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical specialist for water treatment, chemical and gas utility systems.
  • Review water treatment, chemical and gas system designs, technical submissions and design changes.
  • Provide technical support on UPW, wastewater treatment, water reclamation, chemical distribution and gas systems.
  • Support water balance, recycling and wastewater treatment planning.
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Support equipment evaluation, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
  • Resolve technical issues and support project decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Support testing, qualification and facility handover.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in water treatment, wastewater, chemical or gas utility systems.
  • Experience in semiconductor, PCB, substrate, FPD or other high-tech manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience in design, construction, commissioning and project handover.
  • Strong knowledge of UPW, wastewater treatment, water reclamation and water balance.
  • Experience with chemical distribution, slurry or bulk/specialty gas systems.
  • Plating wastewater and metal-bearing waste experience is an advantage.
  • Familiar with EPC projects, design review and change management.
  • Knowledge of Singapore environmental and industrial utility regulations.
