Job Summary

Lead financial reporting and accounting operations, ensuring accurate month-end and year-end closings, compliance with statutory requirements, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to support business financial integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reports to management
  • Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage preparation of profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, management financial reports, and regulatory filings
  • Execute accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and account reconciliations
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and government authorities to support audits and compliance
  • Ensure compliance with finance filing, tax filing, audit procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in implementing new financial processes and systems as needed
  • Prepare audit schedules and reconciliations to support year-end audits
  • Support preparation for financial year-end audits and corporate income tax filings

Required competencies and certifications

  • Professional Accountancy Qualification and Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably as a Senior Executive in retail multi-store environments
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and independently meet job objectives and deadlines

  • Demonstrated self-starter attitude with strong initiative
  • Positive, driven, and passionate work ethic
