We are seeking a dedicated accounts professional to join us at Y Medical & Wellness Pte. Ltd. This is a single position, and the successful candidate will be appointed as Accounts Executive or Accounts Manager depending on experience. Candidates with experience handling GP clinic accounts are preferred.
Job Description
You will be responsible for the accounting operations of our clinics, from daily collections and billing through to month-end closing, GST and audit support. A candidate appointed at Manager level will additionally take ownership of group consolidation, tax, financial planning and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings
- Reconcile daily clinic collections (cash, NETS, PayNow, credit card) against the clinic management system and bank statements
- Prepare billing and follow up on receivables from corporate clients, insurers, third-party administrators and government schemes (e.g. CHAS, MediSave)
- Process supplier invoices and payments, including drug and consumable purchases
- Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations
- Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable and payable, and general ledger integrity
- Prepare GST returns and supporting schedules
- Prepare schedules and documents for auditors and tax agents, and support the audit process
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax agents and other external partners
Additional Responsibilities for Manager Level
- Prepare and consolidate group financial statements across multiple entities
- Handle tax computations and submissions
- Lead the external audit process and ensure audit readiness
- Prepare management reports and financial analysis for the directors
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
- Support corporate secretarial tasks and liaise with the company secretary
- Improve finance processes and internal controls
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Experience handling GP clinic or healthcare accounts is preferred, including familiarity with clinic management systems and panel, insurance or CHAS claims
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero), and willingness to adapt to various platforms
- Knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards and GST
- Meticulous, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Accounts Executive level
1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply
Accounts Manager level
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including handling a full set of accounts
- Proven experience with group consolidation
- Familiarity with audit processes and corporate secretarial work
- Certified Accountant (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
