Established M&E contractor in Singapore, specialising in ACMV (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) systems for building construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage ACMV projects from planning and coordination through to installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
  • Oversee the installation of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, including chilled water systems, ductwork, ventilation systems and related equipment.
  • Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and subcontractor performance to meet project schedules.
  • Review ACMV drawings, technical submissions and installation plans to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Manage project costs, variation orders, progress claims and other commercial matters.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure installation quality and compliance with relevant standards and requirements.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and handover activities.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and site coordination clashes with other building services.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements throughout project execution.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in ACMV project management within the construction industry.
  • Good knowledge of air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation, ductwork and associated building services systems.
  • Experience coordinating with main contractors, consultants and subcontractors on building projects.
