The posting

  • Manage end-to-end airfreight operations for import and export shipments, ensuring smooth coordination and timely shipment handling.
  • Supervise daily team activities, allocate resources and support staff in achieving operational targets and service-level expectations.
  • Maintain effective coordination with airlines, freight forwarding partners, overseas agents and customers on bookings, shipment status and transportation requirements.
  • Track shipment progress, delivery schedules, operating expenses and service performance, taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Manage operational escalations and customer complaints, working with relevant parties to resolve issues and minimise service disruptions.
  • Develop long-term business relationships with customers and logistics partners to support service retention and collaboration.
  • Review departmental budgets, productivity indicators and financial performance to support cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable customs requirements, internal procedures and relevant airfreight industry standards.
  • Recommend and implement operational improvements, service enhancements and initiatives that contribute to sustainable business growth.
