The posting

We are looking for an Application Engineer to provide technical support to customers on the application and integration of the company's products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and training to customers and regional subsidiaries.
  • Assist customers with the application and integration of products into their machines and systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical and application issues and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Perform product commissioning, testing and demonstrations.
  • Develop and update technical notes, training materials and documentation.
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical information when required.
  • Develop best practices for the use and application of products.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements.
  • Travel within Asia for customer support and training when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics or equivalent.
  • Good programming skills in C/C++ and C#.
  • Knowledge of control/regulation theory.
  • Additional programming knowledge such as MATLAB or Python would be an advantage.
  • Experience in mechatronics or industrial machine design would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Customer-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Willing to travel within Asia and attend training in Switzerland when required.
