Established A1 Main Contractor in Singapore, undertaking building construction projects

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate architectural works for building construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and site teams to resolve design and technical issues.
  • Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submissions and technical documentation.
  • Monitor architectural work progress and ensure activities are completed according to project schedules.
  • Coordinate architectural works with structural and M&E services to resolve design clashes and site discrepancies.
  • Attend project meetings and follow up on architectural matters with relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve architectural coordination issues and construction constraints.
  • Follow up on technical submissions, material approvals, inspections and outstanding architectural matters.
  • Ensure architectural works comply with approved specifications, authority requirements and project quality standards.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in architectural coordination within the construction industry, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor.
  • Experience in building construction projects.
  • Good knowledge of architectural drawings, construction detailing, material submissions and site coordination.
  • Candidates with more experience may be considered for the Architectural Lead position.
