Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide timely IT support to all users and resolve hardware, software, network and system-related issues in an effective and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, printers, communication systems, firewalls and network infrastructure to ensure business continuity.
- Oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of ICT systems for the main office and project sites.
- Perform daily system health checks, preventive maintenance and endpoint reinstallation activities to maintain system availability and performance.
- Support ICT helpdesk operations and ensure service requests and incidents are properly tracked, escalated and resolved within agreed timelines.
- Support administration of workstations, servers, backup systems and other business-critical ICT services.
- Ensure data backups are performed accurately, securely and in accordance with retention and recovery requirements.
- Monitor system performance, availability and capacity, and recommend corrective or improvement actions where necessary.
- Support project infrastructure planning, deployment and operational readiness for office and site environments.
- Support cybersecurity monitoring, detection and response activities, and coordinate timely follow-up actions for identified incidents or control weaknesses.
- Identify vulnerabilities through risk assessments and recommend practical mitigation measures to reduce operational and information security risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal ICT policies, headquarters' security requirements, ISO 27001 controls and other applicable regulatory obligations.
- Monitor adherence to documented procedures, security baselines and audit requirements, and maintain relevant records for governance purposes.
- Deliver or coordinate cybersecurity awareness training and user education programmes.
- Plan and execute ICT audits for company branches and group companies across the Asia Pacific region.
- Develop risk-based audit plans aligned with group objectives and business priorities.
- Collaborate with regional IT teams and relevant stakeholders to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare clear audit reports, management updates and actionable recommendations for system and process improvements.
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Approximately 5 years or more of relevant ICT experience, preferably in an enterprise, project-based of multinational environment.
- Previous experience as a Senior ICT Engineer, ICT Team Lead, Assistant Manager or similar role would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting multiple offices, project sites or regional operations would be preferred.
- Experience in construction, engineering or project-based industries would be an advantage.
