Leading multi-brand retail organisation is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Inventory Planning & Management to oversee inventory planning, stock optimisation, and replenishment activities across its retail operations. This role will play an important part in ensuring the right level of inventory is available across stores while balancing stock availability, working capital, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead inventory planning and replenishment activities across the retail network across Southeast Asia..
- Analyse sales trends, inventory levels, stock movement, and demand patterns to develop effective inventory plans.
- Monitor stock availability and ensure timely replenishment to support store sales and operational requirements.
- Identify slow moving, excess, and aged inventory and recommend appropriate action plans.
- Work closely with Merchandising, Retail Operations, Warehouse, and other stakeholders to align inventory requirements with business needs.
- Monitor inventory performance and develop regular reports and analysis for management review.
- Support stock allocation and redistribution to optimise inventory across stores.
- Review inventory processes and identify opportunities to improve stock accuracy, availability, and efficiency.
- Support inventory related projects, new store openings, promotions, and seasonal planning.
- Lead and develop team members while ensuring smooth execution of inventory planning activities.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory planning, merchandise planning, supply chain, or retail operations.
- Experience in retail, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, or multi store environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data.
- Good understanding of inventory management, replenishment, stock allocation, and demand planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail oriented, organised, and commercially aware.
- Hands on team player with strong problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
