Assistant Sourcing Manager (Ref: 37656) , East Singapore

Our client is a well-established multinational company in the electronics manufacturing sector, renowned for delivering high-quality solutions to global clients. They are currently seeking a Assistant Sourcing Manager to join their esteemed organisation.

【 Responsibilities 】

- Collaborate closely with the Business Development and Program teams to understand and support customers' RFQ requirements and expectations.

- Lead and manage the entire RFQ process, including sourcing activities, supplier quotation analysis, cost comparison, and proposal submission to the Business Development and Program teams.

- Manage Bill of Materials (BOM), including validation, costing, system encoding, and conducting regular BOM health checks to ensure data accuracy.

- Develop and execute the annual supplier audit plan.

- Review, analyze, and update Purchase Price Variance (PPV) reports.

- Organize and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with strategic suppliers to drive continuous business improvement and strengthen supplier performance.

- Validate and maintain procurement master data, including pricing, MOQ, SPQ, lead time, item categories, supplier information, payment terms, and credit limits.

- Conduct commodity analysis, develop sourcing strategies, prepare spend forecasts, and manage sole-source and customer-designated suppliers.

- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies while negotiating pricing, commercial terms, and supply agreements with suppliers.

- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal performance, quality, cost, and delivery.

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Electronics, or related discipline

- At least 5 years of experience in a sourcing role and strong electronic product knowledge within the EMS industry

- Familiarity with sourcing electronic commodities (market condition/MFR product, technology), vendor management, and the supply market.

- Strong leadership and ability to negotiate, articulate, and sustain working relationships with all parties.

- Comfortable with figures and analyzing and interpreting data for decision-making.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Familiar with the Infor ERP system or other ERP systems

- Comfortable traveling when required (mostly to Batam, 2-3 times a month)
