Job Summary

The Associate Security Analyst supports and monitors cyber security systems and operations, analyzes security events, escalates incidents for remediation, and ensures compliance with the Cyber Security Act 2018. The role requires vigilance and effective team coordination across varied shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor cyber security systems and applications to detect and respond to security alerts and events promptly
  • Collect and document security-related information following established practices to support incident analysis and reporting
  • Assist in preparing and publishing security advisories to inform stakeholders of relevant threats and mitigations
  • Analyze security incidents critically to validate threats and recommend remediation actions
  • Escalate security incidents for further validation and resolution in accordance with organizational protocols
  • Operate cyber security tools and techniques to investigate and resolve security issues effectively
  • Maintain on-call availability and standby readiness to support security operations during nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Adhere to cyber security standards, protocols, frameworks, and comply with the Cyber Security Act 2018
  • Communicate clearly and coordinate with team members to ensure seamless security operations and incident management
