The Career Conversion Program (CCP) training period lasts for 15 months. Structured on-the-job training (OJT) will be provided and conducted at the participating companies to facilitate the application of learning and to ensure that individuals acquire necessary competencies to perform at their job.
This is a fully site‑based role at Science Park Facility. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.
The successful applicant for this position will be joining the Characterization team under the Analytical Development department within Development Services in Lonza Singapore, Science Park Facility, focusing on protein characterization using mass spectrometry and other analytical methods.

What you'll do: Development Services encompasses three technical disciplines with associated support functions to develop processes to enable manufacture of recombinant protein therapeutics. Cell Culture Development. Purification Development and Analytical Services.
This position will work under the Lab Services team who supports all the three disciplines activities. The position does not involve in sample or product testing.
- Adherence to EHS rules and regulations is required at all times
- Under guidance of supervisor/seniors to perform activities such as daily equipment verification, media / buffer preparation, goods receiving, etc.
- Document results in accordance with Lonza policies and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- General laboratory support including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory of supplies, etc.
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and an interest in operational efficiency
- Any other duties assigned
What we're looking for:
- Degree in a relevant Science field or Equivalent
- Understanding of theory and application of mammalian cell culture for production of protein production, purification and analysis.
- Understanding of cGMP regulations
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Interest in automation/lab analytics activities
