Job Summary
You will be deployed to an MOE affiliated school, supporting the operation, maintenance and management of Audio-Visual (AV) equipment and facilities of the school. You will also support staff and students in ICT and multimedia training, production and post-production of multimedia products.
Responsibilities
- Provide AV/Multimedia technical support for lessons, CCA, exams, meetings and school events.
- Set up and support AV equipment, live streaming and video conferencing across school venues.
- Develop and implement AV/Multimedia operating procedures and provide technical recommendations for equipment/software.
- Work closely with the ICT team, staff and students on AV requirements and troubleshooting.
- Conduct training for staff and students on AV/Multimedia facilities.
- Perform servicing, repairs and troubleshooting of AV equipment, including PA systems and media studios.
- Maintain equipment usage, service and asset records, including equipment loans, checks and replacements.
- Support procurement, budgeting and expense monitoring for AV equipment and maintenance.
- Manage AV project works, coordinating with vendors and school stakeholders.
- Perform other AV/Multimedia duties as assigned by school management.
Requirements
- Diploma in IT or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in AV support, preferably within a school environment.
- Strong knowledge of AV equipment and systems, including projectors, visualisers, speakers, mixers, switchers, control panels and auditorium systems.
- Experience in live streaming, video conferencing and AV support for events/functions, preferably in schools or concert halls.
- IT-savvy with good computer skills and ability to integrate AV solutions with school needs.
- Experience in AV asset management, maintenance, repairs and equipment replacement.
- Experience in training staff/students on AV equipment.
- Team player with good communication skills and ability to work with staff at all levels.
- Diligent, independent and a fast learner, able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
Additional Details
Work Area: Paya Lebar Work Schedule:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:15am to 4:45pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7:15am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Rest Days: The candidate might be required to work beyond these hours on certain days and sometimes even on Saturdays and Sundays. In such cases, the candidate will be compensated with off-in-lieu.
- Contract Period: 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027, with the option to extend for an additional six months, subject to the school’s approval.
