Backend Engineer

About the role

We are hiring a Backend Engineer to join a large-scale public sector digital programme in Singapore. You will work within a multi-disciplinary delivery team building and running mission-critical public-facing systems on Azure.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop backend features
  • Implement APIs and data-processing logic
  • Conduct unit testing and defect resolution

What you will bring

  • Minimum 3 years in backend microservices; projects of 500+ man-days; technical-lead experience
  • Backend development stacks
  • REST APIs
  • SQL
  • Git
  • Basic cloud knowledge

Qualifications & certifications

  • Degree/Diploma in CS/IT or related

Work arrangement

  • Location: Singapore, on-site at client premises
  • Employment type: Contract / Permanent / Full Time
  • Working days: Monday to Friday
  • The successful candidate must be able to obtain the required government security clearance before starting
  • Candidates with existing CAT security clearance will be preferred
